| Join Emily Blossom and Jeff Kurtock for a fascinating hike up and down the stairways of a wonderful Oakland neighborhood near Lake Merrit. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Our pace will provide time for chatting with others and learning about the places around us. We'll stop afterwards at a nearby eatery for a snack.

| To celebrate the season, we'll be gathering for an Oktoberfest party in Alamo afterwards - all are welcome to join! Following our hike, we'll gather at Dr. Julie Greenlaw and Dave Watson's home at 14 Cardiff Place, Alamo, around 11:30 for a vibrant potluck Oktoberfest celebration that promises to be an unforgettable experience. The holiday season is upon us and the BSC Holiday Party is perhaps
our biggest event of the year. This years celebration will be held
in Alameda on Saturday, December 6th at the Italian American Hall,
where the Spring Banquet was held earlier this year. It’s a great
venue that will be decorated for the occasion; waiting for you to
mix and mingle. Mark your calendars as we hope to see you all there.
